News - Productivity Rises 3.8 Percent in 1Q: "The increase in productivity ? the amount an employee produces for every hour on the job_ was up from an initial estimate of a 3.5 percent growth rate for the January-to-March quarter and exceeded the 2.5 percent pace registered in the final quarter of 2003"
