Copper hit by funds, not fundamentals

Reuters | Latest Financial News / Full News Coverage: "The sharp sell-off on the world's copper market has little to do with the fundamental factors of slowing economic growth and everything to do with the way hedge funds do business.
Hedge fund managers said on Thursday that fundamentals were likely playing little or no part in the price tumble of a metal that is often cited as a marker for the health of global industrial demand."
